The Tamina Health Center is named after the Tamina Gorge, a thermal spring situated two-and-a-half miles away from the resort. The healing powers of the thermal water, which maintain a constant temperature of 97.7ºF, have been known for almost 800 years, and the water is an integral part of Grand Resort Bad Ragaz’ wellness experience, medical treatments and gastronomy.

Tamina Health Center consists of five core programs:

  • Longevity (3–14 days): Slow biological aging, support cellular renewal, and enhance cognitive clarity through nutrition, movement, sleep optimization, microbiome regeneration and more.

  • Detox (7 days): Gently reset the body with anti-inflammatory treatments, digestive health support, energy medicine and therapies focused on the circulatory system.

  • Weight Loss (7–13 days): Achieve sustainable results by optimizing metabolism, balancing hormones, and building new behavioral patterns with expert guidance.

  • Recharge (3–5 days): Designed for those recovering from burnout or high stress, this program restores the nervous system with sleep therapy, aromatherapy and mindfulness practices.

  • Health Check-up (3–4 days): Comprehensive diagnostics and consultations help guests build a proactive strategy aimed at early detection and long-term wellness.

Each of the core programs can be enhanced with a selection of add-ons and therapies, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), which increases oxygen levels in the blood and is commonly used to speed up wound healing. Intermittent hypoxia-hyperoxia training (IHHT) is also available and can improve respiratory, cardiovascular and cognitive function. Guests looking for anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving benefits can take advantage of ozone therapy. Other program enhancements include IV infusion treatments, mental health coaching, journaling, natural hormone balancing, skin therapies, and more.
