Calm Debuts New App

Calm announced the launch of Calm Sleep, a new standalone app for deeper, more personalized sleep support. The app delivers daily plans to help people wind down, sleep deeply, and wake up refreshed. “Calm is a global leader in sleep, with more than half our users already turning to us for rest and some of the most widely used content and tools on the market,” says Jon Tien, chief product officer at Calm. “Now with Calm Sleep, we’re introducing a product built entirely around the sleep experience, from daytime habits to nighttime routines. We’re helping people feel more empowered in their sleep journey, not just more informed about it, bringing back a sense of ease and joy to bedtime.”

Calm Sleep combines Calm’s content with new features designed to prompt real change towards sleep goals. After a short onboarding questionnaire, each user receives a personalized sleep plan with recommended content and daily tasks in categories such as digital hygiene, exercise, stress reduction, and sleep environment. A unique “sleep readiness” bar increases as users complete sleep-enhancing tasks throughout the day, offering a visual cue to help build better habits and improve rest before their head hits the pillow. The app also syncs with wearables through Apple HealthKit, making it easier for users to take action on their sleep data. Calm Sleep features new Sleep Stories from beloved radio host Delilah, actor Andrew Scott, and more, alongside an existing library of over 300 hours of sleep content and 500 Sleep Stories. All new sleep content will have four weeks of exclusive availability on Calm Sleep before being released on Calm.

  • Calm and Allied Home partner for Calm’s first-ever bedding line available exclusively at Target. The Calm Bedding Collection features cooling pillows and four linen sleep mist scents, with sheets and additional products launching soon – all designed to complement Calm Sleep and help build a complete nighttime ritual. Each purchase includes a free 30-night Calm Sleep subscription. The collection will be available in most stores and at Target.com beginning in December.
  • Calm x Ozlo Sleepbuds, combining Ozlo’s smart sleep detection and ultra-comfortable design with Calm’s world-class audio content to deliver a seamless sleep experience.
