Be+Well Las Vegas Educators Share Their Favorite Skincare Trends

Find out what trends are at the top (and bottom) of the list for Be+Well Las Vegas educators.

Nancy Reagan

Loving: Peptide layering and NAD+ topicals—finally, ingredients that talk to the cell, not just the surface. But the delivery system has to work, and don't be fooled by cheaper imitation products.

Not Loving: At-home microneedling. The barrier damage I'm seeing on women in their 40s and 50s is heartbreaking and completely preventable.

Nancy is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: The Future Is Regenerative: Longevity Skincare Strategies for Skin Health Pros and Exosomes, Peptides & NAD+: The Protocol Blueprint for Regenerative, High-Performance Treatments.

Sash Moreaux

Loving: My favorite skin trend right now is photo activation using chlorophyll complexes paired with red light therapy. I love the intersection of ingredient technology and device-based treatments, especially when we start looking at how light interacts with certain compounds on the skin.

Sash is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Global Peel Techniques for Advanced Estheticians and Stress, Skin & the Nervous System: Advanced Solutions for Inflammation, Pigmentation & Aging.

Elizabeth Mackenzie

Loving: I’m loving the shift toward skin barrier health, nervous system support, and treatments that focus on overall skin wellness instead of aggressive overcorrection. Simplicity, consistency, and customization are becoming the future of healthy skin.

Elizabeth is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Small Events, Big Impact: Building Trust & Business Through Community Engagement and The Recalibration Toolkit: Practical Brain–Body Techniques to Improve Skin Outcomes.

Charmaine Cooper

Loving: Barrier-first care.

Not Loving: Stacking acids and devices without assessment for melanin-rich skin. I’ve seen too often where this causes delayed trauma and inflammation.

Charmaine is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Stop Undercharging: Pricing That Grows Your Revenue & Positions Your Expertise and Advanced Care for Melanin-Rich Skin: Science & Precision-Centric Protocols.

Jenni Nagle

Loving: I’m loving the shift toward regenerative aesthetics and skin longevity. We’re finally moving beyond quick fixes and talking more about how skin functions long term.

Not Loving: I’m less excited about social media “miracle” devices that promise instant results with no education behind them. Skin deserves more nuance than a 15-second trend.

Jenni is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Beyond Protocols: Whole-Person Care for Today’s Med Spa Clients and Never Wonder What to Post Again: Leverage AI for Smarter Spa Marketing.

Christine Tian

Loving: I’m loving how ingredient-literate clients are getting. Their curiosity is great for our whole industry.

Not Loving: What I'm cautious about is the "more is better" approach—layering five or six actives at once. Skin doesn't reward overload; it rewards the right ingredient, delivered well. Often the most effective routine is the most thoughtful one, not the most crowded.

Christine is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Decode the Label: Cosmetic Formulation for Smarter Recommendations and The Biochemistry of Barrier Health: From Irritation to Restoration.

Christina Stratton

Loving: I’m loving the shift toward longevity, recovery, and skin health over perfection. Clients are becoming more educated and are looking for sustainable wellness and results, not just quick fixes or overdone aesthetics.

Christina is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Beyond Boss Mode: Building a Culture for Growth and Hire Better, Lead Smarter: The New Rules of Building a Team That Stays.

Barry Eichner

Loving: One skincare trend I’m loving right now is the shift within the medical + spa aesthetic industry from simply correcting skin damage to actively fostering skin vitality. Advances in device technology and ingredient science are giving professionals the ability to support cellular function in ways that weren’t possible in the past.

Barry is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Beyond Protocols: Whole-Person Care for Today’s Med Spa Clients and Never Wonder What to Post Again: Leverage AI for Smarter Spa Marketing.

Jayd Hernandez

Not Loving: I'm not loving that everyone is using ChatGPT to create their content. Everyone is starting to sound the same, and we're losing a sense of authenticity and human connection.

Jayd is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Steal My Secret: The Client Experience That Sells My Beauty Services For Me and The Hidden Goldmine in Beauty Services: Paramedical Tattooing for Scars, Confidence, and Cashflow.

Morag Currin

Not Loving: The one I'm not loving—and can't stop talking about—is the expectation of miracles. It is everywhere right now. Miracle creams. Miracle treatments. Miracle results in 7 days or your money back. And clients are arriving at our tables with those promises already baked in, wondering why their skin, their body, or their sense of self isn't transformed after a single session.

Here's the truth: it took years—sometimes decades—to create the damage. In the body. In the skin. In the psyche. You cannot undo that in an afternoon.

Ella Cressman

Loving: The broader conversation around the skin barrier and nervous system regulation. We're finally connecting the dots between stress physiology, inflammation, and what we see on the skin—and that's elevating the esthetician's role from surface-level to whole-person care.

Ella is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: The Power Consultation: How to Build Trust, Deliver Results, and Increase Revenue and Your Most Overlooked Revenue Source: The Back Bar.

Toshiana Baker

Loving: I’m loving the growing conversation around skin longevity and skin resilience because it moves us beyond aggressive “anti-aging” messaging. I also appreciate the rise of psychodermatology and neurocosmetics, which acknowledge the connection between stress, emotions, and skin health.

Toshiana is teaching two classes at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: The Neuro-Sensory Facial: Rewire the Nervous System & Rejuvenate the Skin and The New Spa Reality: Adapting Spa Services for Stress, Sensitivity & Recovery.

Ashley A. Taylor

Loving: I’m loving that microneedling has really claimed its place in the industry. I’ve been performing microneedling for over a decade and it’s one of those treatments that has consistently delivered real results year after year.

Not Loving: One trend I’m less excited about is the pressure to constantly chase every viral treatment or device. Not everything trending online is appropriate for every client, and sometimes providers feel pressured to add services before fully evaluating whether they truly fit their practice, clientele, or match the claims just because they’re the shiny new toy in the industry.

Ashley is teaching a class at the upcoming Be+Well Las Vegas: Booked for Life: Connection Strategies That Build a Sold-Out Schedule.
