The Ranch (Malibu CA and Sloatsburg, NY) recently introduced The Ranch Private Healthspan. which addresses targeted health concerns including those on or weaning off of GLP-1 medications, diabetes, and/or perimenopause and menopause. To further support the medical health benefits of The Ranch program, the company also announced it is partnering with Truemed, which enables HSA/FSA spending on items that can help treat or prevent chronic disease. “No matter where one is on their health journey, The Ranch can bring meaningful, positive change to their lives," says Alex Glasscock, CEO and co-founder of The Ranch. "The key elements of our program work together and have been proven to enhance overall wellbeing. As the needs of our guests have evolved, in particular around GLP-1 use, diabetes, perimenopause, and menopause, we wanted to create a targeted program that addresses the side effects and symptoms of these common health conditions beyond our signature program."
The introduction of The Ranch Private Healthspan evolved from seeing guests with specific concerns, including those on or weaning off of GLP-1 medications, diabetes, and/or perimenopause and menopause. Recognizing the desire for personalized support, The Ranch created this program to support guests in maintaining an active and high-quality lifestyle by providing targeted care through both its trusted wellness program in concert with carefully selected modalities that address the unique symptoms associated with these conditions. Similar to the brand’s private program, which allows guests to guests work alongside The Ranch’s dedicated guides and experts to customize their daily schedule, The Ranch Private Healthspan enhances this experience with the addition of services including pre/post-program consultations with The Ranch’s Holistic Health Practitioner, Bridgette Becker, three colon hydrotherapy sessions, pre/post program cholesterol testing and energy work.
In The Ranch Private Healthspan, guests begin with a pre-program consultation with Becker to establish a baseline of their current health and their objectives. Working with her and the onsite team, a daily schedule of activities will be tailored to their’ preferences, abilities, and goals. Muscle loss is key concern not only for those taking or weaning off of GLP-1 medications but also women in perimenopause or menopause. Through guided hikes and private training, The Ranch team will focus on helping guests build muscle, develop better fitness habits and establishing a routine upon departure. “Since the launch of The Ranch Malibu, our program has significantly impacted the lives of our guests, often being the catalyst for change," says Glasscock. "Partnering with TrueMed only reinforces the medical benefits of our program - something we have seen firsthand for years. My hope is that more people will consider using their pre-tax dollars towards a profound wellness experience."
