Pomp Launches New Retail Platform for Medspa Skincare

Denver-based beauty tech company Pomp is expanding into medical aesthetics with the launch of Pomp MD, a platform designed to support skincare retail for medical spas and multi-provider practices.

Pomp MD aims to help medspas manage their retail by connecting provider recommendations, patient purchases, replenishment programs, and rewards, all on one branded digital storefront. The platform also handles fulfillment, shipping, and customer support.

The company got its start by serving mostly independent estheticians and other skincare professionals before moving into the fast-growing aesthetics market.

Pomp MD currently provides access to more than 55 clinical skincare and wellness brands, the company says, along with 160+ hours of brand education.

The model is designed to reduce operational challenges associated with retail by integrating with medspas’ existing booking, electronic medical records, and business management systems.

For multi-provider practices, Pomp MD includes reporting tools intended to track retail performance across providers and locations, the company says.

The medical-spa expansion initially began with 10 Denver-area practices ahead of a planned broader rollout across the U.S. The pilot could provide an early indication of whether digital retail platforms can help medspa practices turn skincare recommendations into a recurring revenue stream without adding logistical burdens.
