Paul Bedford to Share Relevancy, Retention Guidance at the Club Industry Executive Summit

Dr. Paul Bedford, The Retention Guru, will speak about how operators in the fitness industry can remain relevant and keep their members engaged when he speaks at the Club Industry Executive Summit Nov. 8-10 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. Registration is now open for the event, which is geared to owners and C-suite executives.

Bedford will present “Remaining Relevant and Retaining Members” in both the club and studio track as well as the track for not-for-profits, enabling him to tailor the content to each specific industry segment.

In his presentation, Bedford will identify six human factors (mindset, culture, leadership, friction, experience, personalization) that every fitness operator will need to take account of if they are to remain relevant while retaining members. Attendees will learn how to develop tactics for the evolving and demanding customer experience.  

Bedford has been working in the fitness industry for more than two decades, during which time he has offered more than 150 international presentations in 31 countries. He conducts research on retention, attrition and customer loyalty while also coaching businesses in practical approaches to improve all areas of the customer experience.
