National Academy of Sports Medicine Appoints VP of International

National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), a global leader in fitness and wellness training and certifications, announced Miriam Vega Perry as the new vice president of International of NASM. With more than 20 years of experience driving business success in diverse global markets, Vega Perry brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Vega Perry’s distinguished career includes leadership roles at multi-national companies including Nestle, Caribe General Electric, and Apollo Global. Most recently, as VP of International at Ascend Learning, she successfully led the Jones & Bartlett Learning Group and Public Safety Group portfolios, implementing strategic go-to-market initiatives and establishing key international partnerships that resulted in double-digit growth for the international division.
