What makes you passionate about your class topic?
I’ve seen firsthand that it is possible for independent businesses, no matter how small, to outcompete big brands and franchises in their market if they have the right strategy. Unfortunately, so many small business owners in the spa and beauty industry are unsure how to do that.
If you could attend one class at IECSC Florida (besides yours), which would it be and why?
I would love to attend Exploring the Skin Barrier & the Microbiome by Dr. Erin Madigan-Fleck. I come from the business management and marketing side of the industry so I’m super fascinated by the healing aspects of what great estheticians and massage therapists can do.
