Peloton and Respin Launch Fitness Program for Women in Menopause

Peloton and Respin Health, a platform for holistic menopause care founded by Halle Berry, recently launched a new collection of fitness content tailored for women navigating menopause. The programming was influenced by the results of a targeted 60-day Peloton and Respin multi-component program (P.R.E.S.S. Study) focused on women’s health during perimenopause and menopause. This program included a combination of online community, coaching sessions, educational resources and scalable fitness programming. It found that 84% of participants reported some improvement to their menopause symptoms after 60-days of varied program engagement (based on a self-reported survey of 267 participants). "The results of the P.R.E.S.S. Study are a powerful testament to the fact that exercise is a critical tool for symptom relief during menopause,” says Dr. Elizabeth Knight, the study's principal investigator, a women's health researcher and integrative health specialist, who oversaw the study along with a team of Respin Health doctors and coaches. “Our findings reinforce that when we empower women with accessible fitness programming, coaching and community support, we can meaningfully improve their quality of life during this pivotal life stage."

The diverse offerings across Meditation, Strength and Cardio provide well-rounded cross-training programming to members navigating this life stage. Included in the new additions to the Peloton x Respin Menopause Health Collection are:

  • The Premiere of Jump Training: Jump Training is a vital tool to help improve balance, maintain power, strength, and metabolism.

  • Special Meditation Class: The benefits of meditation range from reducing stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system to enhancing physical performance. 

  • Expanded Offerings in Weighted Vest Training: Across Bodyweight Strength, Low Impact Cardio and Standing Core classes, with form cues and guidance provided for how to use a weighted vest correctly. 

  • Low impact Classes Across Cardio and Strength: Offer high-intensity movements that build strength while also keeping injury prevention and bone health in mind. 

Members can tap into 12 new classes taught by a half dozen of the brand’s trusted instructors. Many of the classes, including Standing Core, Low Impact Cardio and Meditation do not require equipment. These new classes can be found in the Menopause Health Collection on the Peloton platform.
