Hotel Nia, an Autograph Collection Hotel (Menlo Park, CA) recently partnered with YOGAqua, a stand-up paddleboard yoga studio founded by Sarah Tiefenthaler. The collaboration introduces immersive paddleboard yoga classes to guests and locals, offered at the hotel’s pool. “At Hotel Nia, we are constantly evolving and enhancing the guest experience through thoughtful programming that reflects how people want to travel and recharge,” says Benjamin Duverge, general manager at Hotel Nia. “We know that today’s guests are seeking offerings rooted in wellness that feel both intentional and distinctive, and this partnership with YOGAqua further establishes our pool as a hub for wellness-led experiences in the heart of Silicon Valley.”
YOGAqua is known for its signature approach to yoga on the water. In the pool setting, this 60-minute class focuses on slow, intentional movement practiced atop anchored boards, allowing participants to explore balance, stability, and deep core engagement. Designed for all levels, the experience is both calming and strengthening, with gentle transitions and breath-led sequences that create a uniquely mindful practice on the water. “YOGAqua offers a distinctive approach to wellness, combining movement, balance, and mindfulness on the water,” says Sarah Tiefenthaler, founder of YOGAqua. “At Hotel Nia, we’ve found a setting that truly complements the experience - its serene, design-forward environment offers a distinctive backdrop to bring YOGAqua to life in a new way.”
