Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita recently debuted the new Pilates & Posture Lab, a movement studio that deepens the resort’s holistic approach to alignment and longevity. Created in collaboration with The Studio MX, the Lab introduces a refined, alignment-led approach to mindful mobility and restorative movement. “Our guests often come to Punta Mita to recharge physically, mentally, and emotionally,” says John O’Sullivan, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. “In an age defined by digital fatigue and nonstop schedules, the new Pilates & Posture Lab builds on our existing wellness experiences, giving travelers a way to recover after a flight, stretch after days at a desk, and reconnect through mindful movement. It’s another way we help guests feel their best, in body and in spirit, while surrounded by the beauty of our coastal home.”
Housed within the fitness center, the space includes six reformers and mirrored walls. The Lab’s offerings blend classic reformer Pilates with stretching, breathwork, and alignment techniques to support mobility, posture, and overall vitality. Guests may choose from:
- Morning Pilates Reformer (8 AM): A mindful reformer session that strengthens the core, lengthens the spine, and sets the tone for better posture throughout the day; a gentle yet energizing way to begin the morning
- Pilates + Breathwork (9:15 AM): A flowing reformer class enhanced with guided breathing techniques to deepen focus, increase oxygen flow, and reduce stress; ideal for guests seeking balance between strength and calm
- Pilates + Posture Lab (10:30 AM): The Lab’s signature alignment-focused session, emphasizing spinal mobility, shoulder opening, and hip release; designed to ease tension from travel or long hours seated, this class leaves guests feeling lighter, taller, and more energized
Private sessions are also available for guests seeking customized one-on-one Pilates or alignment work tailored to individual needs.
